Q: How much time do I need to commit?
A: 2-4 sessions per week, 30-60 minutes each. We design around YOUR schedule and goals.
Q: What if I've failed before?
A: That's why this approach works. No all-or-nothing mentality. Just consistent, sustainable progress, and change that fits your life.
Q: Can I train at home or in a private gym if I don’t want to go to a commercial gym?
A: Yes. We can work with the equipment available to you at home, at your condo gym, or at a private gym. If you wish to purchase simple equipment such as resistance bands or dumbbells, guidance can be provided on equipment purchase to support your strength journey.
Q: Do I need equipment?
A: We adapt to what you have. Home gym, minimal equipment, or full gym access, we make it work.
Q: Will I have to track every single thing, every day?
A: No. Data is essential and useful for understanding how your body is reacting to changes. Data is also useful for helping you observe your own progress, which is very important for your motivation to keep going.
There will be some tracking, but we do not need to track everything. Depending on your goals, we may track your nutrition, steps, exercise, or sleep (for recovery). All of these have a tangible impact on your health goals. You will have support and guidance on what to prioritize specific to your goals and life circumstances.
Q: Do you coordinate with physiotherapists or doctors?
A: Absolutely. I am happy to be put in touch with them to understand any health advisories, conditions or injuries you may have to support you in gaining strength and confidence on your journey.
Q: Can you work with me if I have a specific injury or medical condition?
A: Yes. Depending on your condition and the precautions and advisories around it, I am happy to partner your physiotherapist or doctor in supporting your post-rehab training or lifestyle change. This includes:
Postural or sedentary concerns: Corrective exercises, core stability, and general fitness to prevent future injuries.
Musculoskeletal injuries: Back, shoulder, knee, hip, or ankle injuries needing ongoing strength and mobility work.
Post-surgery rehab: Joint replacements, ligament or tendon repairs, once cleared for progressive exercise.
Chronic conditions & lifestyle support: Obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular risk, or osteoarthritis for safe strength and conditioning.
Q: How do I know that your program will work for me?
A: Programs tend to fail for a few reasons.
They could ignore your unique circumstances, and make a generic program become ineffective.
They could work in "perfect" conditions of the right exercise intensity, nutrition, and recovery, but maybe the results don't show up because life is messy and you miss one or more of the key ingredients.
Or, you may have started, but you gave up early when you got derailed in a busy week.
This program takes all of that into account. A personalized program allows you to start where you are, achieve change at your pace, and learn skills that give you the confidence and competence to take the next step.
Q: What if I have to travel or take a break?
A: Your program is entirely personalized. We can discuss how to adapt your plan to your travels, or pause the program for up to 2 weeks until you return to a more predictable routine.
Q: What payment plans are available?
A: We welcome one-off and monthly payments.
Q: What if this is not what I expected with my coaching experience, and I want to stop?
A: As much as we try to be aligned at the very start, there is always the chance of mismatched expectations. I've been there too. If you wish to discontinue your package because this approach isn't what you're looking for, I appreciate your honest feedback and notice sooner rather than later. The unused portion of any coaching fees paid upfront will be returned to you.
Q: Can you train me outside of Singapore?
A: This can be done on the Flex Online plan, but all in-person coaching sessions are currently based in Singapore. I look forward to providing the same quality service in Thailand and Malaysia in the near future.
